What’s on Momma T’s Table for the Week of 2/10/13

Well, the family managed to infect me. Momma T is down for the count with the creepin’ crud the rest of them had. This means no spending time with my grandbabies today and the Egg Roll Extravaganza will have to be put off to another day.

Meals are temporarily in the hands of the Hubs and he’s done a pretty good job of it so far. Last night he made baked potatoes and salmon patties. They weren’t half bad. Tonight he’s pulling out his specialty, Pancakes and bacon. I’m grateful for his help.

He even helped set up the menu for this week so that he or the kids could help out until I’m back on my feet. You will find that asparagus features prominently in the menus for dinner as it is on sale for 99-cents a pound at our local Kroger! A sure sign of Spring if ever I saw one!

Monday: Chicken Soup

Tuesday: Pasta and Veggies

Wednesday: Leftover Taco Soup from Tuesday’s Dinner

Thursday: Stuffed Sweet Potatoes, Peaches and Milk

Friday: Grilled Apple and Goat Cheese Sandwich and Milk

Monday: Bacon Mushroom and Asparagus Pasta

Here’s hoping we make it through this week in good health! Wishing the same for all of you! Good food and good health for all!
