As usual, it’s been busy, busy, busy around the table here. Seems this last month of school is filled with EVERYTHING! Field trips, tests, music programs, graduation and the like.
There’s also garden and yard work to be done. We’ve finally had some warm, dry weather so I’ve been outside weeding and planting as much as possible! I have to admit, it felt good to get out there and dig in the dirt, even on days when I was tired and achy and just wanted to go back to bed, getting out and accomplishing something felt good in the end, and boy have I slept well because of it!
Last night we got a little rain to perk up my plantings and help my seeds get started. We’re expecting showers off and on today as well, so I’m taking some time to work inside today. I’ve got plenty to do, including catching up on my blogging.
So, here is this weeks menu…a little late, but perhaps it will inspire you for your next week, just the same.
